Meeting with JEA on Reclaimed Water March 13, 2025 – Crosswater Hall
The JEA Project Outreach department requested a meeting with Nocatee HOA Officers to review an issue with reclaimed (irrigation) water in Nocatee.
The reclaimed water pressure has been running lower than desired for the last year.
Nocatee used 5.5 million gallons of reclaimed water in 2024.
To address the pressure issue, JEA is defining a new irrigation watering schedule
for Nocatee.
Nocatee is being broken up into four zones. Each zone will have two defined
watering days, two alternate days, and two days without access to reclaimed water.
The new schedules are still being refined so are not yet ready for distribution, but
they will become effective by April 7.
As soon as the new schedules are finalized, they will be sent to Rich Horvath. He
will then distribute them to all the other HOA Officers so they can provide them to their communities. JEA will also be sending the information to the residents on their email distribution.
JEA has recommendations, programs, and services to assist residents in optimizing their irrigation water usage:
o Donotirrigatefrom10amto4pm
o Do not irrigate for more than 1 hour per zone
o Rebates for WaterSense smart irrigation controllers o Free at-home irrigation assessment
o Free water conservation kit you can order
